Being conscious is the same as being present because when you are present you are aware or in tuned to all the events surrounding your intension, actions and interactions. Messages are received and everything feels more alive. Breathing is easier and ones mind becomes clearer. It is that oneness that connection that truly allows us to connect to life. However what’s really amazing are the synchronicities associated with being conscious and how they occur and carry specific guidance and messages to all of us. In a sense synchronicities can be compared to the gears within a clock while they are separate parts to their own they are intricately connected as a unit dependant upon one another to function and deliver correct time. While some would say coincidence however my experience has shown nothing happens by accident and while I am not the holy authority on this I know factually I am not alone on this view either. What synchronicities offer is a view of future events and confirmations through psychic evolvement and higher intuition. It is only weather we choose to accept the information and learn from them or ignore it through a view of coincidental ignorance.
Another view of synchronicity is in this astrology depiction where an individual is able to look outside of his or hers own sphere of reality to see the interaction of events occurring and while they are separated events they are interrelated circumstances which appear synchronized in the physical.Synchronicities do occur spontaneously. The messages we receive criss cross and interrelate with our thoughts on a conscious and unconscious level The messages often ride upon our field of energy with precise yet uncanny timing presenting guidance to us and strangers as well as using us as a conduit to deliver guidance weather we are aware of it or not. However it is also possible that we create these conditions because our thoughts and ideas are constructed from energy and when we focus our intensions a mirrored image presents itself. Synchronicities could very well be the mirror of our higher conscious self or rather a door way into intuition. It is also that thought, perception and or idea that is linked with Quantum Physics. It is that bridge of mental and or psyche that allows us to turn matter into physical creating waves of possibilities, which also creates a rubber band effect.
The following synchronicities are documented experiences which occurred on the weekend of
October 12-14, 2001
Starting in Kew Gardens Queens New York at the home of a friend and ending at the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery and Retreat Center in Woodstock New York where refuge was taken for Manjushri and the 5 Sarawa empowerment.
Joe’s Apartment
7:00 pm Friday evening October 12, 2001
15 people have gathered this evening for meditation at Joe’s place. To open the circle a long distance call was placed to Little Wolf whom initiated a prayer and then confirmed everyone in agreement. For me this night would mark the first time ever that I begin to share the visions I have been receiving since childhood of world prophecy with people. The energy is overwhelming and the many questions that I am being asked are creating a multitude flash backs for me. It is an interesting evening filled with many conversations other than my own thankfully.
At 10:15 PM
We again called Little Wolf, this time to close the circle. People that were in the group the following week received name initiations. Joe received the name Eagle. (This is confirmation to the vision I received listed below of the tiger and the eagle guiding me through the mountains, I later discovered that Little Wolf teaches Tiger medicine).

Original date of Vision
July 3, 2001 Tiger and Eagle (Vision/Guides)
I was climbing through the mountains and found myself being guided by a tiger and an eagle, the tiger walked with me on my left and the eagle landed on my right hand as I held it up high. I felt no fear from them just protection.
This is connected to shamanic culture and a message from my guides telling me of two people that are to assist me. One would be practicing Tiger Medicine and the other Eagle medicine. This Vision occurred 3 times in same night as confirmation that it would and did happen. This vision is related to the mountains and rolling hills of Woodstock NY
The evening ended nicely but the weekend was far from over. I stayed over Joe’s place in preparation for us to travel the following morning to our next phase at a Tibetan Monastery in Woodstock New York 1st time
Saturday Morning October 13, 2001
· Joe and I left at 6:10 am however due to inconsistent directions we went by intuition and tossed the paper directions to the wind. We got off at an exit in Phoenicia NY and didn’t know which way to go however on the car in front of us we noticed its bumper sticker which said Tibetan Monastery and followed it up the hill to the temple. Arriving at 9:40 am.

We got off at an exit in Phoenicia NY and didn’t know which way to go however on the car in front of us we noticed its bumper sticker which said Tibetan Monastery and followed it up the hill to the temple. Arriving at 9:40 am.

We entered the temple at 10:30 am and choose our sitting spots. When the Rinpoche walked in we all stood in respect and returned to our positions. Within the temple Joe and I could feel a lot of energy. We did an one hours worth of meditation which included bowing and centering ourselves.
· During lunch time I inquired about speaking to the Rinpoche about my many vision. The office replied back with their understanding that I was choosing to take refuge. I explained again, and again they mentioned refuge. So I agreed, to whatever refuge in their terms meant. Joe and I then journeyed into town at 1:00 pm and took in the sights. Actually I followed Joe’s lead where ever he was guided to go. Interesting little town, it’s as though time stopped and left this town back in the 60’s. We came across a corner crystal shop which we were immediately drawn to. Another shop played heavy into reggae and had Bob Marley music blaring from the speakers, this music left Joe with very weird energy and he had to clear himself. Joe found a book store that he was drawn or guided to. Many books appeared to speak to him, per say. I found an art gallery that was simply amazing, while speaking to the artist I felt as though I was looking at a mirrored image of myself. His drawings where incredible, he was channeling his artwork, everything about his artwork was spirituality based. Joe’s impression of him, he looked a great deal like Jesus Christ, and holding Melchizedek energy.

Saturday Afternoon October 13, 2001
At 3:30 we started to head back and attend 4:00 meditation.
· As the time grew closer for this refuge I became more and more nervous and uncertain, a better term would be fearful and was choosing to not seek refuge, until Joe introduced me to a friend of who happened to be at the temple at the precise moment I was experiencing this, ah synchronicity. She explained, to take refuge meant to honor a commitment of vows within ones life. Not to lie, cheat, murder, steal, commit adultery and consume alcohol. My response was ohh…She said that I needed to get a gifting cloth for which I was to present to the Rinpoche as an offering whom would return this as acknowledgement. She stated it was a blessing to take refuge.
4:00 pm Saturday Evening October 13, 2001
· There I was up front with two other people. I endured an hour and half of bowing, reciting and kneeling. Having a Tibetan canteen tapped on my head followed by some kind of sacred liquid which was dripped into my hands and then placing it on my tongue. Having one hair follicle snipped, along with having rice tossed from the Rinpoche and Joe at us multiple times as a blessing. Although Joe was enjoying the rice tossing just a little bit more then the Rinpoche with his playful humor behind me. The first part of the ceremony had ended and now we were being given Tibetan names. I am Karma Sam-Sen meaning meditation, how fitting. After I walked up to the Rinpoche to receive my blessing, I turned and slowly followed the line. I was surprised to see such a large crowd. Once the ceremony was over Joe and I helped sweep the rice from the floor along with two other members as part of our respect and contribution.
6:00 pm dinner Saturday Evening October 13, 2001
· Many people came over and congratulated me. I just smiled and said thank you. I was still somewhat perplexed and did not really understanding what I had done. I explained that this was my first time. Some seemed intrigued as I told my story of how this came to be and how easily the synchronicity of this experience just happened. Most of the people were more amazed that this was my first time, only because those whom seek refuge go through years of practice before taking full refuge. I find it amazing that these simple rules many people find such difficulty in. This is basic stuff, go figure? My food patterns changed and head aches disappeared, I could feel a heightened sense of my abilities. After dinner I spent much time talking with a woman named Linda comparing art notes and sharing with her my journeys, experiences and discovers. She seemed amazed that I had only started drawing 3 years ago.
As Joe and I settled into our quarters, we joked about the day’s occurrences and the many synchronicities’. I just started laughing while preparing to sleep. During the course of the night the first vision I had was that of a squirrel monkey coming to me. ut through out the rest of the night I could not sleep due to my sexual energy I tossed and turned due to sexual fantasies. I just could not turn off my mind.
Sunday Morning October 14 2001
1. At 8:30 am: I walked over to the Rinpoche with Linda and her husband to possibly get some insight and direction about my visions. I really didn’t know what to expect. I explained to the Rinpoche what I have been experiencing and like the many other teachers and guides I have encountered his response was, to help humanity along, they are just thoughts, let them go. I thanked him and left.
2. At 9:00 am: I shared my experience with Joe, he and I just laughed, especially about the monkey. Although he did explain that the monkey in Tibetan tradition is a main guide or Hanuman the Monkey God. That’s another one for the book
s. I sense most of my fascination with the Tibetan culture comes from a past life experience connection.3. At 9:45 am: We headed over to the temple for meditation and to finish the refuge vows. Joe and I took our sitting positions followed by prostration (bowing) to open the final ceremony of refuge vows. Before each vow was initiation, the scribe translator would always first ask if there was anyone whom did not wish to take that particular vow, to please leave the room.
Taking Vows of Commitment:
On the first vow: Joe’s guide told him not to say the vow.
On the second vow: Joe’s guide told him to leave the room. This was the vow of thou shall not commit murder. The look on every ones face as he got up was more then words could describe including that of the Rinpoche and his scribe. I did everything I could not to laugh being the circumstance. I said to myself, Joe of all of the vows you had to choose with me sitting there to walk out on.
On the third vow: Thou shall not steel, two people in crutches got up and walked out. I was somewhat astounded to witness this.
On the fourth vow: Thou shall not lie; many people walked out and returned after the vow was over.
On the fifth vow: Thou shall not drink, many people again got up and went to the waiting room and returned at the end of the vows.
On the sixth vow: thou shall not commit adultery, how auspicious. This just happened to come in on 11:11am; How convenient with Linda sitting behind me. Some people again got up and went to the waiting room and returned at the end of the vows.
